Fast-acting chlorine for shock treatment
Does your pool water have the right chlorine level? Fast-acting chlorine from BSI helps you get the chlorine level right with a "chlorine shock". Chlorine is an algae and bacteria killer. The chlorine level of your pool should be between 1 and 2 ppm. You can test this with Test Strips or Test Kit.
Start your treatment with fast-acting chlorine (granulate) to make the water ready for use. If you let the water circulate for 1 hour, you can swim after 6 hours. This chlorine treatment does not affect pH and is lime-free. For proper water disinfection, add fast-acting chlorine (granules) every 2 days or use long-acting chlorine tablets every 2 weeks.
What if the bacteria and algae have celebrated and your pool water has turned green or dirty?
Time for a 4-step "shock treatment.
1. Check the pH value with the Test Kit or the Test Strips
2. Add a hefty dose of Fast-acting Chlorine (10 g per m3) + Cristal Clear
3. Add Micro Floc and allow to filter for 10 - 12 hours
4. Maintain clear water for a long time with Cristal Clear
Is the use of chlorine safe?
Chlorine products are absolutely safe. However, you must use the correct and normal dosage of the product. After all, chlorine is also used in our tap water, which is drinkable. The BSI chlorine products are of the highest purity and are tested and approved by the government, which you can recognize by the blue lid.
