Is the pH-value in your pool too low? Use BSI's liquid pH Up to raise the pH of your pool water. For example, if metal pool parts oxidise and rust, this can result in brown stains. This means that the acidity is too low and you should use this pH Up, to be sure you can use the BSI Test Strips or Test Kit. It is important that you keep the pH-value of your pool under control between 7 and 7,6. An acidity level that is too high or too low can cause irritation to the eyes and skin.
TIP: Tap water can have a too high pH, rainwater and well water often have a too low pH. Keep this in mind when refilling your pool water so you can keep an eye on your pH-value.
